Practical informations

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

The les Houches School will be open starting from sunday, january 28th, 11:00 am, and the workshop will finish on tuesday, january 30th, at 2:00pm.

Unfortunately it is not possible to stay at the les Houches School outside the dates of the workshop.

MEALS

The meals planned within the workshop are the following: from lunch of january 28th to lunch of tuesday 30th included

LODGING

The participants will find at the entrance of the building Cecile De Witt the lodging plan with the name of their chalet and the room number. The rooms can be opened by an entrance code which will be sent by email to all participants.  The number of rooms being very limited, please inform the organizers as soon as possible if you would like to come with your family.

CONFERENCE FEES

There will be no conference fees. Moreover, the lodging and meals expenses are taken in charge by the organizers. Participants are expected to take in charge their travel fees.

PARKING

Please park the cars in the uphill parking

TAXI

If you arrive by taxi to the Les Houches station and need a taxi, you need to reserve in advance (there is no taxi waiting at the train station) by calling one of the following numbers:

Non-french speaking participants may ask the secretary of the Les Houches school to make taxi reservation: please send an email at  houches-secretariat@univ-grenoble-alpes.fr, at latest on wednsday, january 24th at 12:00am.

WEATHER

 The Les Houches school is located in the mountains, at altitude 1100m. Please plan suitable snow clothes and shoes, and car winter equipment

WIFI

Wifi is available in all the buildings, and accessible by Eduroam. A wifi code will be distributed to all participants.
